History of RISE 

Although Rise Scholars, Inc. was not registered until March 2020, we have been working at Hamilton School as a group of volunteers since early 2014.

2014-2015

MENTOR PROGRAM founded

as Mentor Me Hamilton School

MENTOR PROGRAM expanded to new Mentor Center

​

HAWK CENTER after school program started

​

FUNDRAISING FOR:

ATHLETIC PROGRAM

2 new 9 passenger vans   

stipends for coaches

Womens Grand Master, Carla Heredia hired as full time Chess Coach

Opened program to 2nd-8th grade students

Partnered with Mechanics Institute to begin offering quarterly tournaments at Hamilton

First annual Hamilton Winter Chess Tournament a huge success

SCHOLARS PROGRAM launched
